• Our bikes are delivered to the customer in perfect condition.
• With the rent we provide free padlocks.
• The use of a helmet is advised. Customers under 18 must always wear helmet. The contract for customers under 18 must be signed by parents or legal representative.
• During the rental period, customers are responsible for all damages, partial or total, of the bikes, including theft. In case of theft, the amount to pay will be established by the type of the rented bike.

• Lost or theft, accessories and components for E-bikes: Motor: 800€ / Battery: 900€ / Display: 130€ / Display mount: 35€ / Charger: 150€ / Button: 35€ / Front light: 50€ / Back light: 30€ / Lock ABUS: 150€ / ABUS Key: 25€.
• The travel assistance (meet the client and work) is free within 5 km from Abilio Bikes Shop. Within a range further than 5 km and less than 30 km from Abílio Bikes Shop, the travel assistance will have a cost for the customer of €1 per km travelled. For a range further than 30 km from Abilio Bikes Shop, the customer must, in case of damage, immediately contact Abilio Bikes Shop so that it can find a repair shop as close as possible to the customer, who is responsible to go there at their own expense. The travel assistance only works between 10am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday.

• Deposits: When signing the contract, the client must pay, in cash, the amount of 20€ per bike as a deposit for a comfort bike, MTB 29 or children bike, 100€ for a carbon road bike, gravel bike or E-bike and 200€ for E-MTB. The cash deposits will be refunded upon the return of the bikes and/or accessories, if they are in the same condition in which they were collected / delivered.
• Customers also must present a valid personal identification (Citizen Card, driver’s license, ID, passport, etc…).

• Customers should strictly obey traffic rules and be careful in the use of the bike, which can only be used in Portugal Continental.
• Abílio Bikes Shop does not take responsibility for any accidents caused from improper use of the bicycles.
• The bike rental includes for the customer, the insurance coverage under a policy of the company Tranquilidade No. 000 382 0225 subscribed by Abílio Bikes Shop. This policy has a deductible of 250€. If an accident happens and the customer has the responsibility, he always must pay de payment as maximum 250€ plus the amount for the bike repair. All accidents must be reported immediately to Abilio Bikes. This way it can contact the insurance company.
